WELCOME TO THE INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY RADIO NETWORK
In 2026 we celebrate our 75th year of providing play by play of open wheel racing! We first covered the Indianapolis 500® as a network in 1952 and we’re proud to carry on with live coverage of the entire NTT INDYCAR Series® season and the NASCAR® Brickyard 400® at IMS. 2026 also brings us new tracks in Arlington, Texas, Markham, Ontario, Canada and a return to Phoenix, Arizona. Plus the double header is back at the Milwaukee Mile this year. Lots to look forward too, so…now stay tuned…
AFFILIATE REQUIREMENTS
The IMS Radio Network requires stations to carry the Indianapolis 500, The Brickyard 400 and at least five (5) additional NTT INDYCAR Series races at no cost. If your station (or station market group) is unable to carry at least five (5) NTT INDYCAR Series races, you will be asked to pay a licensing fee of $750.00.
TICKET REQUESTS
Stations who carry the Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard 400 are welcome to a set of tickets to each event. To guarantee on-time delivery, requests must be made when completing your contract and received by April 1, 2026. Your station must carry the event for which you are requesting tickets.

PROGRAMMING NOTES
Satellite Service via WESTWOOD ONE. An internet feed is also available for each event.
Indy 500 Daily trackside updates will continue in 2026! For two weeks leading up to the Indy 500, we will provide you with a daily update to be aired in the morning prior to that day’s events. These will be :90 seconds and will be emailed to you in .mp3 format the evening before they air.
“The Greatest Day in Motorsports” is back to help your station kick off a full day of racing on Memorial Day weekend. This show will air on Sunday, May 24th at 10 am Eastern and preview both the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600.
ATTENTION NASCAR AFFILIATES
Permission to air a broadcast from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway requires a contract with the IMS Radio Network. Your MRN or PRN contract does NOT grant you permission to broadcast the O'Reilly Auto Parts (formerly Xfinity series) or Cup races from IMS. A station broadcasting or rebroadcasting an event from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway without a contract with the IMS Radio Network could result in a licensing fee of up to $5,000.00.
